We see all the various processes involved in making a print and the history of this technique is explained.
A large printing press is used to make a print – various shots of the prints being made. This printing press was made by Samuel Cousins, R.A. C/U of George as he concentrates on his work. Print is peeled off the plate and we see it in C/U. It is a portrait of the Regency actress Mrs Lister painted by G.S. Newton. Other works of art produced in the same manner are presented to the camera.
